A Learning Profile
These are cohorts of learners, Roles in the organization, department names, or any cross-functional group.
About Grid View
1. Add new - To create a new profile.
2. Refresh - To refresh the grid.
3. Show/hide Columns - Show or Hide any column from the grid. Your settings for the grid will be saved and next time it will show only those columns that you have selected previously.
4. Grid columns -
- Profile Name
- Profile Image
- Signup URL - This is a link to the User Signup page. Anyone who signs up using this link will automatically be assigned the profile. That will save you the hassle of selecting the learners and assigning the profiles all by yourself.
- Total learners - Total number of learners that have this profile.
- Description
- Modified on - Last date & time a profile was updated.
- Actions - Edit, Delete, Enable/Disable, Leaderboard (Shows rank of all learners of the profile).
About Card View
1. Add new - To create a new profile.
2. Refresh - To refresh the grid.
3. Delete - Selecting multiple profiles and deleting them in bulk.
4. Enable & Disable buttons.
5. Profile Card Elements -
- Profile Image
- Profile Name
- Profile Description
- Total number of learners that have this profile.
- Edit, Delete, Logs (Shows rank of all learners of the profile)
How to create learner profiles
1. Go to Learner's profile submenu from the Learner menu on the Left menu.
You can switch between Grid and Card view from the icon provided on the right side of the page heading.
2. To create a new profile, click on the Add new button present below the Page heading. This will open a popup form.
3. Add the profile name. You can add some description, it is optional to add and totally for your reference.
Adding an image is also optional. Add an image by clicking on the grey thumbnail, it will open another media library popup where you can add new images or use an existing image.

4. Click on Save.
5. Click on Save & New to continue adding more Learning profiles.
Then your new profile will start showing in the list. You can edit or delete it from the options provided.
How to assign Learning Profiles to participants
1. To assign learning profiles to participants/learners, go to the Manage Learner link available above the Learner's profile link.
2. Here you will see the list of your learners, Select the learners by clicking on the checkbox present on the left of the learner row. Then "Set Profile" button will appear below the Page heading.
3. Click on the button, it will open a popup.
The popup shows the selected learners and the profiles already assigned to them. Select the profile you want to assign and click on Save.
4. You can also assign profiles to multiple learners at the same time. Select multiple learners and click on Set profile.
Now there will be no profiles already selected because different learners will have different sets of profiles. You can either add a new profile or Replace any earlier profiles.
Replace Earlier profiles checkbox removes any prior profiles from the learners if there are any.
5. You can also remove any profile from the learner by clicking on the cross button and saving. On removing a profile, that learner will not be able to access those learning plans assigned to that removed profile.
Where will the Learning Profile be used?
The Learning profile is used when creating Learning plans/ Training / Journeys.
A Learning plan is assigned to the Learning profile(s). Only these Learning profile Learners will be able to access and attempt the Training.
The Learning profiles can also be used to filter reports.
Go to Progress Analytics to get reports of a Learning plan and then you can filter the learners by profile name.
