What is a Module 

Modules are the actual activity that a learner will do, Read a document, take a quiz, fill a survey, do a task, attend a classroom training, or do an Interactive E-Learning are all examples of a module being completed.


How to Create a Module

Under the Content menu item on the left sidebar
Expand the section to reveal different menu items
Click on the Create menu item to launch the Create module UI

other sub-menus are as follows:

The following Menu Items will open up these views
Module: Opens up the library of Modules already created
Create: Opens up the Create Module UI, from here you can create a module.
Lessons: Opens up the library of lessons already created
Quizzes: Opens up the library of Quizes already created
Survey: Opens up the library of Surveys already created
Tasks: Opens up the library of Tasks already created
Events: Opens up the library of Events already created
Questions: Opens up the library of questions already created
Question Bank: Organize the questions in question banks from here
Media Manager: To manage all assets like images, documents, and video.
 



Types of Modules

There are following types of modules available for you to create content.

Lesson :

Any activity where the learner will invest his time to learn something.
You can create an article/webpage, use your existing document like PDF, use any video from YouTube, etc.

Quiz :

It is a graded activity where you can assess learners' responses for multiple question types like:
Essay Question
Single Selection
Multi Selection Question
Yes/No
Sequencing

Survey :

Collect the preferences of your audience, multiple question types are available:

E-Learning :

Bring your SCORM/XAPI Packages into the system, please contact us for seamless integration.
To create an E-learning, select the Module type as E-learning, fill up the required fields for the module then at the bottom, click on Add E-Learning button.

A popup will appear, and it will show the available E-learnings, select the E-learning that you want to add. Then save the module. Now this module is ready to be assigned to learners either via Quick Assignment or by assignment from the Learning Plan. The learners will be able to view this interactive E-learning on their training page.


Tasks :

These are the activities you can assign to your learners, they can 
upload a media - audio/video/image
report back in Yes/no or Quantity 
Fill out a Survey 
You can also set them up to repeat at a particular frequency like daily /monthly etc.

You can click on Frequency Switcher, which will show the configuration settings to set the task to repeat at a particular frequency.

Events :

Events are any synchronous activity that will happen on a particular day and time like a classroom training, webinar, meeting, market visit, etc. 
There is native integration with Zoom, teams, and Google Meets, that provides additional functionalities like:
The ability to create the event from the EZAE platform will automatically generate the meeting in your software.

Automatically mark the attendance of the learners who attended the meeting by identifying their email IDs.


Event Nomination Types:

  1. Self Nomination- The learner will need to Nominate for this event themselves. They will be shown a button to Nominate on their dashboard. When they nominate, then the admin can either approve or reject their nomination.
    After the learner's nomination has been approved. The Event will be visible in the learner's timeline.
  2. Mandatory - The learner will automatically get nominated for the event. He will be eligible to attend the event on the point he is assigned an event.
