A learning plan is the  Journey you create for your users with modules/activities spread over a schedule.
Here is the different meta information you need to fill in while creating your learning plan.

Meta Information

Name: This is the visible name of your journey/curriculum.
Description: Share more information about this journey that your learners will find relevant.
Image: Thumbnail image of the learning plan.
Profiles: Assign this journey to the learner profile(s).
Tags: Provide relevant Keywords that characterize this plan/journey.
Schedule Date Inputs: Select the duration in which this plan will be available to the learners to attempt.
Lock Sequence: Enabling this will require the learners to complete the modules in the sequence you have put the modules. The next module will stay locked for a learner if he has not completed the previous module.
Continuous module: enabling this option will serve all modules one after the other without going to the dashboard or leaderboard.

Gamification

Then we have gamification attributes. You can set them up from here.

1. Points

Points can be either added on completion or overall performance in the learning plan. Total points earned are shown on the learner's dashboard. Multiple point configurations can be set on a learning plan.

On Completion:

You can either choose to assign the points when the learner completes all the modules in the learning plan or you can choose to allocate points only to the first specific learner who completes the learning plan. E.g. To First 5 absolute users or 5% of total learners assigned in the learning plan.

On Performance:
You have the option to allocate points based on the total score a learner achieves across all modules of the learning plan.
E.g. Allotting 100 points on performance when the score is more than 50% of the total achievable scores in the learning plan or when the score is less than, equal to, or between a lower or upper limit. When setting score with between criteria you will need to specify 2 score values.

The above setting would mean allotting 100 points when the score is between 70 and 100.

2. Badges

Badges can be assigned on either the completion or performance of the learning plan.

On Completion

You need to add the badge name and image, this will be displayed to the user in the earned badges section on their dashboard.
You have the option to either award a badge to all learners who complete the learning plan or to award the badge only to the specific learners who complete it first, you have to enable the checkbox right next to the "To first" configuration, then add the first learners value and calculation type. E.g. To first 10 percent of the total learners or first 10 absolute learners.
You can also make the badge available to be allotted for the first few days from the learning plan's scheduled start date. Then click on Save. This badge will now be visible in the Badges grid/card view. To view all Badges, go to the Gamifications tab, then the Badges sub-menu from the left menu.

On Performance

You can allot a Badge based on the earned Scores or Points in the learning plan by the learner.
E.g. Allot badge when the score is more than, less than, equal to, or between 2 values which can be either an absolute or a percentage value. Similarly, you can assign a Badge based on points earned by the learner in the learning plan.

3. Leaderboard

Enabling the leaderboard switch in the learning plan will lead to the creation of a new leaderboard with the same name as the learning plan.

This leaderboard will show the rank of the learners based on the scores they have earned in the entire learning plan.

You can access this leaderboard ranks from 2 places:

  1. Manage Learning Plans:
    • Grid View: In the Actions Column
    • Card View: The Leaderboard icon is present inside the learning plan card.
  2. Manage Leaderboards:
    • Grid View: Locate your leaderboard by the name of the learning plan and click on the leaderboard icon from the Actions column.
    • Card View: Locate your leaderboard by the name of the learning plan and click on the View button inside the card.
