The announcements feature allows you to create important messages or updates that will be displayed to learners when they attempt a module's training. This ensures that learners are informed about relevant information before or during their training sessions.
How to create Announcements:
- Navigate to the Communications accordion in the left menu, and expand it, there you will find the Announcements submenu, click on it.
- It will show the lists of the announcements that have already been saved.
- Click on Add New.
- Here you need to fill in the title of the announcement. Select the Learning plan under which you want to create the announcement. The modules dropdown will be filled with modules present in the selected learning plan.
- Then add your announcement message. The announcement message field includes a rich text editor that offers a wide range of features to help you create and format your announcements effectively like text formatting, alignment, adding images from the Media library, etc.
- Optional Schedule Dates:
- You can set the "from" date to specify when this announcement should start being shown to learners.
- You can specify the "to" date to indicate until when this announcement will be visible to learners.
- Save Announcement
- Save & New: This button saves the announcement and clears the form to create another announcement.
- Save: This button saves the announcement and redirects back to the announcements list.

- Action Buttons:
- Add New: Click this to add a new announcement.
- Refresh: This reloads the data on the page.
- Delete: Select and delete multiple announcements in one go.

- Selection Checkbox: Select announcements for bulk actions.
- Title: Displays the announcement's title.
- Description: Displays the announcement's description.
- Enabled: Shows whether the announcement is enabled or not.
- Learning plan name: Displays the learning plan's name selected in the announcement.
- Module name: Displays the module's name selected in the announcement.
- From Date: Displays the From Date (if set).
- To Date: Displays the To Date (if set).
- Created on: Displays the creation date.
- Created by: Displays the name of the admin/author of the announcement.
- Last Modified On: Shows the last modification date and time.
- Action: Icons for editing, deleting, and toggling the status of the announcement. Disabled announcements are not shown to the learner in any case.

- Show/Hide Columns: You can customize which columns are visible in the grid by clicking the dropdown at the top-right. Your preferences will be saved for your next visit to the page.

- Show Rows: Set the number of rows displayed per page.
