📁 Skill Mapping Menu Overview
All features related to skill mapping can be found under the Skill Mapping menu. Here's a breakdown of each section:
1. Company Detail (Optional)
Use the AI-driven company setup form to:
Specify company type, size, departments, etc.
Auto-generate relevant skill-role structures.
Save or regenerate based on AI suggestions.
2. Manage Skills
Maintain a central repository of organizational skills.
Search/filter by name, category (Behavioral, Technical, Executive), or trend (Emerging, Maintaining, Declining).
Add skills manually or import from the Library tab.
Skill details include:
Name & Description (AI-assisted generation available)
Category & Trend
Proficiency Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Knowledgeable, Expert
3. Manage Roles
Create and organize job roles such as Executive, Manager, Supervisor, Intern, etc.
Three View Modes:
Grid View: Tabular display
Card View: Visual tiles
Chart View: Hierarchical tree (used for creating/editing roles)
Add a new role with:
Name, Description, Function, Business Unit, Industry, Grade
🔗 Link Skills to Roles
Access the Success Profile Card via the grid or card view.
Two skill types:
Must-Have Skills
Good-to-Know Skills
Add skills manually or use Create with AI to auto-suggest relevant skills.
Set the required threshold proficiency for each skill.
4. Organization Chart
Visualize and manage reporting relationships for accurate skill validation.
Ensure all users and their reporting structures (Leader, Skip Leader) are defined.
Set user roles and reporting lines:
From Manage Learners, select a user → set role → assign manager.
5. Enable Skill Assessment
Navigate to Company Profile > AI Section and enable Skill Mapping.
Set parameters:
Start Date
Duration (in days)
Restart Cycle (in months)
Who assesses (Self, Leader, Skip Leader)
Weightage for each rating type
Save the form to initiate assessments.
🔄 Assessment Workflow
Order of Assessment:
Self-Assessment
Leader Assessment
Skip Leader Assessment
User Experience:
Users go to My Skills to view their role, required skills, and start the self-assessment.
After submission, the leader is notified.
The leader accesses Team Skills, selects the user, and submits ratings.
Upon completion, the skip leader is notified to repeat the process.
Once all assessments are done, the Skill Gap is visible in My Skills.
Leaders can see both their subordinates’ skill gaps and ratings.
Users can also add Aspirational Roles and view required skill gaps.
